Hi there! We recently visited a place called Little Bluffs Conservation Area in Prince Edward County. We loved the Scarborough Bluffs and knew we had to visit this place to see if it was similar. It is obviously a much smaller scale, but the cliffs and views were wonderful! We were also greeted with beautiful purple wild flowers all throughout our hike, which made it feel like something out of a movie. We hiked around the Little Bluffs Conservation Area and stumbled across some old ruins that were a little off the path but worth the detour. We weren’t sure what they were ruins of but they were very pretty and fun to explore in the afternoon light.
As soon as we finished hiking around the Little Bluffs Conservation Area the sky darkened and an enormous rain storm blew through. It started raining about 10 minutes after we took these sunny photos and it came out of nowhere. We took refuge under some trees near the beach hoping that the rain would pass by quickly, but after waiting for 30 minutes we ended up running back to our car in the pouring rain. We didn’t get to swim at the beach as planned, but we laughed so hard as we ran through the rain getting soaked. It was one of those classic, carefree summer moments when we kept laughing despite the rain!
On another note, we are 4 weeks away from the wedding now and things are ramping up full speed. Every vendor contacted me over the past weekend to touch base and one of our vendors even cancelled at the last minute 🙁 . The entire wedding planning process has been pretty smooth so far and so these hiccups are to be expected but I am starting to feel that final push. We are taking some time this week to finalize the remaining details and make sure everything is in order. I have really enjoyed the wedding planning, but I am mostly excited just to marry my best friend and see all of our loved ones next month!
